My Bdsm World

I’ve been in the BDSM world for alot of years, learning, helping, and being helped. People today are mostly nicknames (usernames) that come and go. Some are created in the space others left behind and others are built on the persona they created, as a brand for themselves and others. Everyone is here for their own reasons. Some are more exposed than others. Social media helps to simplify a world full of characters and people. Some want to be more prominent, some just want to share, express; some only want to participate. Every person comes with their outlook and shapes their view about themself.

Everyone chooses his/her own path and the mode of expression that is most comfortable. Some are themselves, some to choose to ve someone else, and everyone is trying to realize their potential as much as possible. And maybe find another soul to realize their potential together.

The community in real life is a little different. It is built on mutual respect between human beings, healthy communication. Even if people don’t always get along, there is a way of communicating that helps to achieve closure. Everything is dealt with directly and there is no chance for many quarrels. There, too, there are sometimes unhealthy interactions, but, there, there is a way forward if you want. What comprises the BDSM world is not the definition but the people that give life to the definition. Because, in life, it doesn’t matter which definition you relate to, your soul is the main driver of the outcome. Anything goes as long as it isn’t too much for you. You’re like a jug, filling up in the way that is right for you.

Some see the site as a type of community and so spend most of their time here. They live and breathe life into the community. But when you view this platform as a type of community, jealousy pops up, our minds become more narrow, the truth is bitter, and the ego takes control of the empty space in your thoughts. Your definitions become a fence that surrounds you and it’s easy to judge others. The person becomes the character and the character becomes everything. The written word becomes a gun with a quick trigger in the form of a keyboard.

It’s easy to walk behind and throw words full of fog and everything becomes gray to the point where it doesn’t matter where the light is. The truth becomes tunnel vision through a screen; to judge, to take, regardless of who is on the other side.

We all commit this sin. As human beings coming from different worlds, we all hurt, get hurt, and make mistakes. That is why we must never forget that peoples’ essence is inherently good and to apologize. We must never forget the heart and common sense. To be whole is to know how to look at things in the right way, to accept things, and to give each thing its rightful place without allowing it to hinder you.

Be who and how you want to be as long as you don’t hurt others. And if you did, then ask for forgiveness. Above all, understand your world and have awareness of yourself and others. A healthy outlook on emotion, love, platform, spirituality will help you be the most you that you’ve wanted to be. Never ever forget the human being!
